About: Shawnessy is a third-year Psychology student with a minor in Education at the University of British Columbia. Her research interests include sexual wellness, sexual dysfunction, and how stigma impacts sexual health. After completing her undergraduate degree, Shawnessy plans to pursue graduate studies as steps towards becoming a counselling psychologist. In her free time, she enjoys pottery, travel, and spending time with her friends and family.
