About: Orli Hellerstein is a 3rd year undergraduate in the honors psychology program at UBC. As a directed studies student in the SWELL lab, she works on the ADHD and sex study, and is particularly interested in the impact of ADHD medication on sexual behavior. Outside of the SWELL lab she is working as an honors student in the UBC Sexual Health Research lab studying Sexual Interest/Arousal Disorder, a work learn at BC Children’s Eating Disorders Research lab, and as an RA at the PEER lab. She aspires to a graduate degree in clinical psychology with a focus on mood disorders, sex-related CPTSD, and how those with mental illness interact with their sexual lives. Outside of the lab she is a proud member of the Latin Dance Club and can always be roped into a conversation about Greek and Irish mythology.
