About: Ela is a third-year psychology student at the University of British Columbia. She is particularly interested in researching sexual and relational satisfaction in couples, sexual dysfunction, sexual communication, and how mental health influences desire and arousal. After completing her undergraduate degree, Ela aims to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology. In the SWell Lab, Ela is currently working on the STORK project which is a couples based online program designed to enhance expectant couples’ sexual wellbeing.
